The winter season for track is here!  The track team has had a few meets so far, on December 6th, 7th, and 8th it was held at Boo Williams. On December 14th and 15th, the track meet was held at CNU.  The overall team had many accomplishments, along with individual winnings.

On Saturday, December 15th, the boys who ran a 4×400  meter placed second overall. The 4×400 team included Jeremiah Zell, Brandon Boivin, Coyle Currie, and Dallin Carson. In addition to winning second place, some of them were able to qualify for States with their times.

“I ran the 4×400 and qualified for States, so therefore it went well,” Currie said.

The boys who ran a 4×200 meter placed first overall.  The 4×200 team included Mark Lipscomb, Kai Hawk, Dallin Carson, and Jeremiah Zell.

“I ran the 4×400 and 4×200 meter, and placed first and second.  I think the meet went well overall, especially since around six people qualified for states,” Carson said.

There is only nine meets left for indoor track and their next meet is after winter break. It is an Exclusive Invitational at Liberty University on January 11th and 12th.
